These people are in the R&R Hall of Fame "for their invaluable contributions to rock and roll". 'Scuse me; I gotta puke.
Link Wray is not (along with a lot of others who shaped sound).
Who the hell is the R&R Hall of Fame, and who needs it? Forget Cleveland (does anyone really want to go to Cleveland?) and start a REAL R&R Hall of Fame, honoring the real heroes.

54markl, sorry but you got it backwards. But, it's okay...I've made the same mistake.
I heard him live in the seventies and he was absolutely amazing. His fingers were moving so fast that the guitar was on fire...okay, a little dramatization but you got the point... :)

Heavy guitarist before his time. I saw him opening for Jefferson Starship. Mesmerizing. But, the crowd wanted something different.
Way before his time.
